Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our dynamic team in Davis, CA.

  • 50% call & 50% clinic
  • The location has a care model that is team-based and offers Obstetrics and midwifery
  • Part of a collaborative practice that works with a larger group of midwives from a local FQHC
  • Currently birthing center has 6 birthing rooms, 2 with tubs, and expansion in the works to manage the community's needs
  • Opportunity for Fertility work

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing or related field
  • Completion of an accredited midwifery educational program. Certified by either the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM)
  • Appropriate state licensure
  • Proven experience working as a midwife
  • Basic Life Support (BSL) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and clinical assessment skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Patient and compassionate
