We are seeking a mid‑career physician or new graduate who is board‑certified or board‑eligible in Clinical and Metabolic Genetics. Experience with metabolic/genetic disorders is highly valued, and leadership experience is preferred, though not required.

We are a dedicated, collaborative care team responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of pediatric patients with metabolic disorders. We provide comprehensive, family-centered care to CCS clients and partner closely with state programs—including California’s Newborn Screening Program. Candidates should anticipate enhanced additional offerings with program growth including expansion of ERT protocols. You will care for children with a wide range of metabolic disorders as well as being actively involved in general genetics clinic and providing consultation services to our thriving inpatient units. Our Children's Center hosts the largest NICU in Norther California, 20-bed CV/PICU, and thriving general pediatrics floors. You will be able to collaborate with a full breadth of dedicated and talented pediatric subspecialists including neurology, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and many others. 

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Clinical/Metabolic Geneticist
  • CCS Paneled – if you are not currently paneled, we can help you with this process
  • Experience in metabolic genetics preferred
  • Leadership experience or interest in program development
  • Comfort managing a broad spectrum of pediatric genetic disorders
  • Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary care
  • Passion for improving health outcomes for children with rare and complex conditions
