Opportunity Information

We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our surgical team. In this role, you will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal issues in children, ranging from newborns to young adults.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the unique physiological and emotional needs of pediatric patients, ensuring that both the child and their family receive comprehensive, patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care: Evaluate and treat a wide range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including congenital deformities, trauma/fractures, scoliosis, sports injuries, and neuromuscular disorders.

  • Surgical Intervention: Perform specialized surgical procedures (both inpatient and outpatient) such as spinal fusions, limb deformity corrections, and minimally invasive repairs.

  • Collaborative Consultation: Work closely with pediatricians, physical therapists, neurologists, and other specialists to develop holistic, multi-disciplinary treatment plans.

  • Patient Advocacy: Educate parents and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment options, and postoperative recovery to ensure informed decision-making.

  • Emergency Services: Participate in the on-call rotation for pediatric orthopedic trauma and urgent surgical needs.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
  • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Valid, unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration.
