Since 1994, Sutter's Institute for Health and Healing (IHH) has led integrative health as California's first certified clinic, offering evidence-based treatments like acupuncture, chiropractic care and therapeutic massage. Today, our clinic in San Francisco combines conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies. 

• Board Certification: BC/BE (Board Certified or Board Eligible) in Integrative and/or Functional Medicine, or equivalent experience with such training in either a specialty setting or primary care.

• Active California Medical License: Candidates must hold one.

• Primary Specialty Certification: For positions like Internal Medicine, you must be BC/BE in that specialty, plus have integrative/functional medicine skills.

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is a premier multi-specialty medical group made up of over 200 physicians practicing in the greater San Francisco service area.
